Top Ten Reasons to Go to Thrillerfest
If you didn't know Thrillerfest is less than 3 months away. If you haven't signed up, let me give you ten reason to sign up:
10. Get a chance to watch me commit multiple author faux pas.
9. Meet Sarah Weinman. Start a conversation with her, then cross the street and see if she actually follows you.
8. Have a hot dog at every Grays Papaya and Papaya King in the city.
7. Be close to the mecca of baseball.
6. Hear Jason Pinter wax poetic about the Romantic Times Booklovers Convention.
5. Take a subway and test to see if you smell like urine afterwards.
4. Find out whatever strange New York happenings will occur to me this time. And feel free to join in.
3. Learn that character really is more important than plot. Everytime.
2. Since it's a Thrillerfest, there will probably be a moment where you are given clues, have to unlock the puzzle, then race around the city and beat a ticking clock to do something. My money is on that "something" being finding a public bathroom in the city.
And FINALLY
1. New York City is really just a part of New Jersey anyway, so come and see the Garden State. (AKA touch greatness)
